As we near the election month, there is a lot of tension among the Kenyans bearing in mind what happened after the 2007 elections. There are concerts and marathons all over the country being held for peace in anticipation of peaceful August elections. Bizarre Bazaar is one of the peace concerts we attended in the green and quiet environment of Karura Forest.

In hopes of promoting a peaceful election period, organizations like that of Wanny Wenger in Moving Cultures put up a music concert called “let's drum and sing for peace” at the Karura Forest Limuru road, with the theme of promoting unity in diversity. Moving Cultures is a participant-based on art, culture, and entrepreneurship aligned with a social movement that attracts Kenyans from different and vast cultures to mingle and interact peacefully through different activities.
